Glass dome 174

I just got a glass dome 174 beacon ray. I would like to have the tag restored but can't get ahold of fyrfyter... any other ideas on how to restore a beacon ray tag? Anyone know a better way to contact fyrfyter? Also anyone have tips on cleaning or polishing a glass dome?

There is a glass repair/polisher about an hour from me in Hallstead, PA. Spoke to him at an antique show about polishing a MARS red lens and he said it would be no problem.


I do not know what his rates are like but if you like, I can track down his info an pass it along.
