Face plates from Havis, Jotto, and Troy should all work with each others consoles. Finish is not going to be the same at all. Every manufacturer makes their stuff a little different. I personally like the Troy brackets the best, they are usually a little more heavy duty but you do pay for that.
Width and length are compatible between JD & HS. Problem will be that JD uses fixed screw holes on its mounting lip and HS uses a track with no fixed positions for mounting. So, you may have trouble mating faceplate screw holes to screw holes when putting HS plates on a JD console, but not the other way around. Worst case, you might need to drill new holes in the console mounting lip. Finish is similar, but smoother and glossier on HS plates. JD is slightly more textured.
