Hi All,
I hope this is where I should be asking this question?
I’m a newbie!
I’m working on finishing off this beacon display for the Winnipeg Police museum and need help identifying this beacon. The riveted tag is missing and there are absolutely no markings on the beacon at all for me to base a search on so was hoping somebody can identify the construction and give me a make & model.
Thanks for any help the members can give.
Regards,Derk

Looks like it could be a Dietz 240. I don't think the dome is correct for it though and suspect it was replaced.

Edit: Looking again, I think Deitz 7-40. The 7-40 had the tag riveted to the band where the 240 had it on the base if I'm not mistaken.

I also have this beacon with the tag missing. I did a search here and believe it is a Federal signal corporation Model 14 beacon? It has a synthetic base and ABS lamp holders. Could somebody confirm I have this right?
If so, are there replacement tags available I could purchase to replace the missing one?
Thanks again for any help.
Regards,Derk

Great job in identifying the beacon for me.
A quick search confirmed that’s exactly what it is! The round red dome threw me off!
Thank you.
