A buddy of mine found the remains of a beacon in a scrap heap this weekend, and saved it for me. He thought I might be able to use the lamps from it. I told him that it was likely from an older beacon because the lamps are incandescent and they say Tung Sol Elec. Inc. 4416 on them. All three of the lamps work!

The rubber band belt from the motor to the reduction wheel is gone, and the rubber band belt from the reduction wheel to the carousel is dry rotted and cracked in dozens of places. The motor, the base, and the shaft are very rusty. There is some minor corrosion on the lamp holder plates. The carousel turns freely, as does the reduction wheel, however the motor does not turn.

I thought it was somewhat less common because it has three lamps instead of two or four. However, I need help identifying which brand and model of beacon this came from.

What do I have here? Does anyone have a use for any part of this, or shall I have my buddy return it to the scrap heap?

Thank you to everyone who's replied. Is there anyone who wants or needs any part of this, or the whole thing? Shipping weight will be 6 pounds.
