Hey there, new guy here trying to navigate an install. I have a basic understanding of wiring - but am trying to plan out the wiring for my StrobesNMore Interior Lightbar. I have a 4200 mini controller that I plan to use.

I’m not sure of the amperage that the lightbar draws, and cant seem to find this info anywhere, how do I know if it will be over the 3.5 amp max per channel on the controller?

Additionally, if it is, Ive seen that I need to run a relay. I’m confused about what exactly a relay does, and how to install it into this proposed circut. Is there any good resources to read up on relays in this application? Or resources that go over wiring basics in general.

Honestly Ive never used relays and ive done some pretty heavy installs of halogen strobe etc. LED run so low on amps I wouldnt think youd need one but maybe someone who does insist on using them will chime in.
