This would make a great old-school reproduction project. If I only had the time, and the money, and was owed a big favor from Ryan :)

What I want to know is, who is the "U.S. Sheriff" and why is the "Los Angeles Police Force" using his dune buggy?

The description is worded as though it was written by someone from outside the country. Also, pretty sure the officer in the buggy is from the LACo Sheriff.

He is, look at the LASO tan shirt for the tipoff. LAPD wears navy. Plus, LAPD never used Twinsonics, as I recall they went straight from Trios to Aerodynics.
