HHS2100 to HHS2200 Question

Guys I have a Whelen HHS2100 installed now, can i get away with swapping the HHS22oo brain and using everything from the currently installed HHS2100 as is?

yes,you can its made to retro fit

I figured it was, just wanted to make sure before I switched and let the magic blue smoke out of it.

I think you need to change the control head too. I have retro'd a bunch, and have always changed the head, never tried not so I can't say for sure it wouldn't work, but not sure I want to try either...

Changed the brain last night and programed it, used the head from my HHS2100 and it seems to be working fine so far. Thanks for all the info and help

it was a easy switch right? thats why whelen did it that way, i only did a retro on 1, but it was quick , and you can use the same controller..


my customer wanted the new controller switched too,b/c he was selling the old hhs2100 and wanted to give the old controller !!!

The same hand held controller is can also be used on the new CANTROL system.
