Brand new hhs4206 out of the box. When I apply 12v to j4 “system power” the 20 amp siren fuse located next to j4 blows. Does it every time but the controller still connects fine and lets me do programming. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Seems very strange. You are applying power to J4 Siren power, and not J3 Siren output? Is your speaker hooked up when this happens? If the siren fuse is blowing when you are hooking up power, and its got a good power and ground, and your speaker isn’t connected, you’ve got a bad hhs.

Correct, power to j4. Tried with a siren speaker connected and with nothing connected at all. Blows each time. Running out of 20 amp fuses
