Okay... need some help..

Just had this dumped on me... for my Junior Program, they are wanting to do an "Honor Guard"- which I don't know squat about- as far as etiquette, protocol, etc.

Anybody have ideas/pointers/suggestions, etc?

PM me- if you have something you can email me (SOP's) I will PM you my email address.

Thanks.

Mike,

I can get you a lot of information from our Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads (TARS), Fire Service Chaplain Association, and Nashville Fire Department. Instead of using a rifle team escort, the "arms" for Firefighters are a ceremonial fire ax and halligan tool. For memorial services and funerals, I have served as a bugler for TARS and our state ambulance service association, so I have met several teams. The teams also drill extensively on flag ceremonies for opening regional and state meetings.

Just send me your email address so I can forward it to key contacts so they can send info directly to you.

Richard
