I guess it is a Dietz 711, because the DZ 77-212 and Signal Stat 375 domes fits.
But the retaining band has no label.
Other 2-11 or 711 are stamped and have a brass label.
This ring says only Pat No 2458007.

It's definitely the Dietz 211 design. Dietz switched to using 7400 bulbs in 1980. Given that the dome retaining band has no markings other than a patent and if the band is original to the beacon, I'd wager this one was made in the era when Signal Stat owned Dietz. Signal Stat bought Dietz in 1990 and continued to make these beacons from 1990 to 2003. Signal Stat did change to a much smaller and cheaper motor somewhere in the mid-1990's, so if yours is all original, it would be from shortly after Signal Stat bought Dietz.

The retaining band has 2 small holes to fix the type plate on the band.
But no other signs like other 2/7-11.
Other Dietz beacons have the brass plate and a stamped part.
So it makes sense that this beacon is made at the end of Dietz and takeover of Signal Stat.

These beacons had stamp and tag for a time only. This one may hav had the tag only, which may have been removed by someone, or never applied, making it a Dietz. We may never know.

Dietz used stamp plus tag up to 1980. 1980-1990 was just a stamp on the band. Signal Stat was also just a stamp, the marking being:
Signal Stat
W3-80

Could you post pictures of the band, specifically the area where the data tag should be located and the area where the two ends of the band meet?

Any markings on the motor? Those Bosch motors had the name, a warning about not oiling the motor and a date. The markings were in ink, so if someone cleaned the motor with any sort of solvent, the markings would be removed.

No chance, the whole motor and gear assembly is painted silver
Hmmmm... wonder if this beacon was something of a basket case that someone saved or perhaps it was put together from several Dietz 211/7-11 parts beacons?
