Inner Edge on a Cig Plug?

Is it possible to safely run an Inner Edge off a cig plug? I'm just looking for something with more of a foot print a small dash light that wouldn't be used too more than maybe once or a so a week for a response to the station.


The other option would be could I get two hard wire Viper S2 dash lights, sync them and run those off a cig plug?


I could always run two dash lights off two cig plugs but they wouldn't be sync'ed and it would drive me crazy.

Yes. I would look for a "good" cig plug (if such a thing exists) - not one that uses bent metal on the sides for the ground connection. It's not optimal, but you won't catch anything on fire.

I have run my interior Pinnacle off of a plug for a few months now and have not had any issues (even when left on scene for some time). Just make sure you use, as stated, a "good plug" that has the correct gauge of wiring, fuse, etc.
