I found this for sale on eBay. Something about it struck me as odd. I've seen dozens of these in amber, but never a one in red.

Has anyone seen red arrow lenses in use? Do some trucks have dedicated red rear-facing turn signals instead of the usual amber? If so, why? Or are they used on combination brake/tail/turn lights? I would think the arrow would be confusing in that application.

I have seen red arrows that double as brake lights on a few pumpers in the past.

I see those all the time here, they're on all the county ambulances that I've seen!
