Is this Normal

I picked up another MX7000 to stick on my van. While doing my standard take-down, I noticed something weird.

At each end of the unit, there is a spare dome clip tucked away. Did they come like this or was this someone's resourcefulness at work?

I've had a couple mx bars like that, i almost wanna say its a backup in case ya loose one.

it appears to fit perfectly there, so although I have never witnessed it, it very well could be a spare!

I have had a few MX7000s that came with a spare dome clip in that location.

All my mx bars had those spares. I have lost a few in the past and kept all 4 holders stocked. I lose every thing at all.times!

Yes, they came with the bars originally.
