Hi,

do you know if these black covers on the top are original, and if they are sold in spare parts? under what reference? thank you.

Some had a black rubber like stick on material on them but its easier just to remove it and spray paint the tops flat black

Mine started clear. I masked and painted them silver to reflect some ultraviolet.

Like Jazz said, we used to mask and spray them with high temp. silver engine paint.
Used to do it to the Jet, StrtHwk, Aero, MX and ExCal bars.

I remember my first full bar was a Jetsonic. I had spray painted it as well. It was an old Phoenix PD bar. I had it on a 93 Caprice (ex PPD too). It looked really sharp on it. I retired it for a Jetstream on a 2000 Impala. This was also about 10yrs ago. Now the car are gone but the bars are still cared for.
