Update 8/1/11: I've since updated (and finished) the KC Map, and moved on to others. See below.
Hey guys.
Since moving up to the KC metro area, I've wanted to have an idea of where all the major (and some minor) fire stations are at, since I work with a few of them from various departments. So I got bored one day and started mapping them out on Google Maps...and it's kinda gone from there.
Check it out:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie ... 85b0d&z=10
I now have over 100 department stations mapped out, and about half of them even have the apparatus assigned to each station listed there. What do ya'll think?
Disclaimer 1: Most of the information seen here was readily obtainable on department websites or through basic Google searches (and some cheap "common sense" searching).
Disclaimer 2: Not all the information on this map is 100% accurate, nor is it endorsed/sanctioned/verified by any of the agencies listed. If you have any corrections, well, tell me. ;D
