Mine too...there is also a bar # etched into the frame...mine is 00032. My L.A.P.D. is "stamped" though...

Mine are done L.A.P.D. in cursive, like a lady did it.

The exterior is stamped with the in service date.

The retrofitted -T is stamped with both the in service date, and "R" with the date it was rebuilt to the no speaker type.

I do think the $400-500 range is far more realistic that the $800+. In un-restored condition.
