well looking for a LED beacon... something that wont break the bank... any suggestions???


dont know if this is the right spot to post this figured i would give it a whirl...

Here it is in action.

That's a very effective light. The Whelen L31 is more effective, but only because it's a larger light - the output per amount of surface area is similar. The L31 is intensely expensive, with most models on the Whelen website listed in the $500 range, and the most expensive model, white LEDs with a magnet/suction mount, is listed as $751. The LSS222 is listed on Sirennet.com at $137.70. Go with the Code 3.

I am looking for a L31 red magnetic mount for a good price. So far they are $300, thats too much for a Beacon. I am happy with the code 3 . I already installed 6 of them as throw lights when responding for 360.
