LED Reverse Lights

Hi all,

I was on the old board for a while and am now just getting time to come back onto this one.

I have a 2000 Chevy S-10 p/u and wanted to put some aux reverse lights under or I/A/O the rear bumper. I was looking at Sound Off's par36 reverse/scene lights but was also wondering if 2 Lin3s or Tir3s would work just as well? I am not looking to light up a trailer or anything just a little bit more light for backing up. Just curious to what people think.

I also once this rain stops in NY, to get outside and take some photos of my truck since my Jeep decided to tell me off about a year ago, and also put up some photos of an 2010 Avalanche I did about a month or two ago.

Thanks,

MW

I use extra lights in the rear of my 9622 Edge bar. Plus I plan on adding some fog lights under the bumper, since I have 4 sets just laying around... LoL

I would think that a pair of Sound Off Mighty Night Lights would work well for that. The TIR3 and LIN3 are great for warning, but not lighting up and area like a scene light would.

I mounted a paid of Rigid Industries Dually LEDs with a flood reflector to the rear leaf spring mounts of my pickup. This way they are up out of the way of getting hit by almost everything yet they can still shine under the bumper to light up behind me. I'll take some pictures later this afternoon and post them.

Thanks everyone. Yeah I didn't think that tir3s or lin3s would give out enough light but I also do not need a lot.
