Perfect light for snow plowing a amber halogen rotator that will melt the snow off the dome as it generates heat.

That is really sharp looking! I'll wager that the dome is actually a Federal Signal large size Beacon Ray dome. Those large diameter Beacon Ray domes are interchangeable with the Dietz 7-40 and Federal 14. I think you will find that the well focused spot light bulbs will provide very effective warning and will be less blinding to you at night.

I agree. I have a 7-40 mounted on my utility vehicle. They don't come like that from the factory.

Thank you all for the nice compliments and all the likes... That is actually a Federal F1 dome on a Dietz light. It actually fits perfectly and it gives and old school look in which I like. I think it is the perfect light for snowplowing as it does melt the ice and snow right off the lens.
