Looking for Recommendations: Cone-Shaped Siren Speaker for More Echo

I’m currently using a Feniex Storm Pro 200-watt siren, but I’m planning to upgrade to the Whelen HHS3200 soon because the tones on the Storm Pro are terrible. I already have a Federal Signal AS124 speaker, and I want to add a cone-shaped speaker to pair with it for a better echo effect.

I’m looking for something with a lot of power, similar to the AS124, to make sure the sound output is strong and clear. If anyone has recommendations for a good cone-shaped speaker that fits this setup, I’d love to hear them!

Thanks in advance!

I find it best to pair speakers with the same kind that you currently have an AS124. As in almost every brand siren they test their equipment with their own speaker but we know most speakers perform well in other brands too. The Code 3 C3100 is a very good and reliable speaker very close to the AS124, but as I said before I'd pair them the same.

Outside of the Federal Signal TS100, the AS124 from my experience is best speaker out there and the only one I'll put on a vehicle today.

Great acoustics, reasonable size and robust.

The TS100 will give that cone sound your seeking, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it'll make vs the AS124.

I agree with CD3 on using the same speaker if your running 2.

If you need an additional AS124, PM me...

Thank you very much!
Honestly i would probably just go with which ever is louder.

Resist the urge to make a selection based sound pressure level ratings alone--they do not tell the whole story.

Modern, compact siren speakers achieve similar sound pressure levels to the deeper speakers of decades ago. However, since these measurements are taken very near the speaker, they do not demonstrate siren effectiveness at actual distances encountered in real world emergency response.

The reason you're looking for a deep speaker, I surmise, is to direct more of your audible warning signal downrange where it will get the attention of motorists as far ahead of your application as possible as early as possible.
