I don't think it is that bad. Looks like:


amber flasher


red flasher


white scene


amber turn


red brake


white reverse


red flasher


I think it is a pretty decent set up. The light heads themselves could possible have been smaller sizes, but bigger light is bigger bright. Personally, I would have done a traffic stick in the center (above compartment), top red flashers, scene lights, smaller brake/tail/turn, and red flashers down low.

Would look better w/ clear lenses...... although I actually kinda like it.

I could see why they had to do that. There's no place to put the higher zone of lighting, as one "beacon" would be higher than the other and on one side, it looks like you wouldn't have a spot to even put a beacon.


If they didn't want the whole back end to look like lighting, they could've chosen smaller lights to use for that. Despite how ugly I think it looks in the picture, I do agree that those 900 series LEDs will kick some ass when they're on, mainly the red ones. I would've wanted the ambers to have been halogen.
