M4 sync question

Feel stupid even asking how to do this. Have 4 Whelen M4S that I want to sync, lets call the heads A B C D

I want heads A/B to flash together then heads C/D.

What I cant seem to grasp is how to tie heads A and B or C and D to each other but still flash opposite the other group of heads. Can this be done without a stand alone flasher?

Thanks
Steve

Use the pattern change wire to program lights A/B to phase one on the selected pattern and then program lights C/D to phase 2 on same pattern. Connect all the sync wires together. When powered up they should alternate as desired.
