The slick top is from the DeKalb County Marshal's Office. All Whelen with inner edges (looked like they were made from LINz6's), plus ions to the front of the PB and side panel, LINz6's on the side of the PB and on the LP, and I think Vertex's in the blank tail light spots. It's controlled by a siren/slider combo. One odd thing is they put the antenna on the rear deck rather than next to the trunk like their CVPI's.

The other is from John's Creek PD and is all Code 3 lighting with what I believe is a Mobile Vision camera system. Full light bar, 6 head LED's on the front and side of the PB, 3 LIN style lights in the side panel, LP lights, a rear deck bar, and LAW's in the tail lights. Controlled by the new all in one system that has the three colors on it.

What does the Marshal's office do?

From there website: The Mission of the DeKalb County Marshal's Office is to enforce all orders and directives of the DeKalb County State and Magistrate Courts and provide public safety services to the citizens of DeKalb County in a professional, diligent and courteous manner.

The DeKalb County Marshal’s Office was established by an Act of the Georgia Legislature in 1951. Through this Act and subsequent amendments, the Office was given the authority to enforce all orders and directives of the State and Magistrate Courts of DeKalb County.

The State of Georgia fully recognized this Office as a Law Enforcement Agency, certified through the Georgia Peace Officer’s Standards and Training Council. The Office is empowered to protect life and property, arrest violators of the law, and enforce all federal, state and local laws and ordinances coming within the Office’s jurisdiction.

The DeKalb Marshal’s Office is made up of the Marshal, 26 sworn deputies and 5 civilian employees. The office serves over 75,000 documents and performs over 3,000 evictions annually.

Basically, they do the civil warrants and services while the SO does the criminal ones.

In many areas, the Marshal's office serves warrants on behalf of the court and provide courthouse security.

However, in other areas of the US, their authority is completely different (ie NYC marshals are appointed public officials, but are neither city employees nor are they peace officers)
