Minimum ga Strobe Wires

Making some custom cables to rub from the driver to strobe heads. What's the minimum gauge of wire I should be using? Standard 12v Whelen equipment.

Thanx....if I'm running dual-head fixtures, is there any reason not to have all 6 leads in the same shielded cable?

Some dual-head fixtures were supplied with four conductor cables. Such fixtures share common anode and cathode wires, and have separate trigger wires. Although I'm struggling to turn up any literature at the moment, the Sound Off Micro Twin Brite Eye dash light comes to mind:
