On July 13th one of my brother firefighter became entrapped while fighting a house fire in Marshfield Missouri. He was severely burned prior to be rescued by fellow firefighters. He is still in critical condition at a burn center in Springfield Missouri. Although insurance will likely cover all medical expenses, other expenses may not be covered such as fuel, food, and other incidentals. Lt. Blankenship is a dear friend and his family needs our help and support. We have set up a secured fund raiser page you can find the link to it on our website. If you can’t donate please comment on the fundraiser page and remind him how tight our public safety family is near and far. You may also send cards and patches to district headquarters, you can also find that address on the contact us link on our website. Prayers and thoughts are also greatly appreciated.

Phone calls will not be answered right away as department members are busy dealing with press, insurance, and investigators. Email may be a faster response with any questions.
