I saw a post a while back of a white crown vic where the owner had trimmed down the bezel/shroud of the unit so that the leds would sit flush against the window.

I am wondering how to safely accomplish this same thing, I would even like to trim the shroud back further (up to the led board) reducing the depth as much as possible -if possible for a custom install.

I did not know they made flashback shields for flush mounting. Any cutting of the plastic shroud would void any warranty

Anyone got a picture of these non-hole-drilling-window-mounts? I think I may have seen one but don't have a clue how it looks in a vehicle...
