Moto CDM1550 backlights not working

I got a CDM 1550 and none of the backlights don't work. Any idea where to get started to see wby they don't work?

One of the buttons can be assigned to "Backlight Control". I would check in the programming and make sure one of the buttons is programmed as such and the backlight isn't set to "off".

Backlight level can be set at:
Radio Configuration -> Lights/LEDs tab -> Mobile Backlight Intensity dropdown

I have it set to max backlight with P2 to adjust the backlight level and I've got nothing.

Sometimes the screens die - they are getting old. Try swapping the screen out, see if that does it. Or, check if the flex is intact.
