Hi,

Does anyone know if the spotlights used on the Mustang SSP's in the 80's/90's were the same size (lighthead and shaft) dimensions as the spotlights used on other police vehicles? It's hard to tell in pictures. Some look like the spotlight arm might be a shorter length than a standard spotlight on a full size squad, but I don't know. I also thought they could be the exact same (which would be easier from a manufacture standpoint). Thanks in advance.

Unity made specific handles for different model vehicles. The angle of the A pillar, distance from A pillar to steering wheel, etc were the reasons. The Mustangs used the 6 inch spotlight, in CA anyway.
