MX7000 Project

This is kind of an interesting MX build. A 52" towing special with clear lenses and orange and red rotator filters. Seems to be an early generation 2 bar with the older style metal reflectors and such. Should be a fun build, I'm probably going to put red/blue lenses on it.

Have not seen that configuration before. I typically only like ones with mirrors but kinda like that setup, at least the inner gets the extra flash. If you add the dividers to separate the 2 levels, they use a center section divider when the tail light is installed.

You mean the center section divider, or close out plate, from an 11-inch center section, correct?
If they didn't come that way from Code 3, someone figured it out. It works great, was common on our wreckers in the day. The dome also helps hold them in place. I don't have any photos in use but using the same length 4 tab that is used in the center leaves the needed gap for the STT at the end.

The MX is a damn good bar. We've still got a couple of backup engines that have them. Clear domes with red rotators and center clear, clear intersection sweeps and lower flashers. Man those things put on a heck of a show day or night

Yes, they certainly did. They were quite effective.
