I work for a local install shop. Very proud of my work.. let me know what you think. All of this stuff is what the customer asked for.. Some of the stuff I would do differently, but it's what the customer wants..

more coming eventually

Nice work. I like the ATV. What light is on the center of the back box? M-Series?

The suburban and tahoe look excellent as well. Nice and simple.

I agree totally... but what the customer wants, the customer gets....

It's also your job to educate the customer, not just sell them product. Trust me, you will get a better reltaionship with the customer with them knowing you are helping them get the most out of their money. Not spending most of their money for no reason...

I wish it was my call. Like I said, just an installer.. I don't deal with the customer. If it were up to me, I would have done it diferently. My boss felt the same way, but that's how the customer wanted it.

I work for West Chatham Warning Devices in SC. Part time of course. I'm a full time firefighter (engineer) for the fire service.

Well that explains all the Whelen! lol! I buy my Whelen from West Chatham. Tell Amy and Sandy hello from Louisiana! Oh yeah, good looking install work, btw ;)

the local office approached us... trust me.. it's not all it's cracked up to be. They supplied their own equipment and couldn't afford really anything. That's why the suburban was so bare. At the time that suburban didn't have a siren.

Nice work. I realize you didn't spec these vehicles out, but there are some things I'd have done differently on them, as well (the ATV looks like big overkill to the rear, the Tahoe's brake/backup flasher vs the LAW and the massive amt of grille lights in the Suburban - 6 seems to be too many, in my opinion).

What's steady burning in the rear of the Suburban? That's not the position for stock brake lights (plus, the 3rd brake light's not on; the top, I believe, is for the turn signals).

Yes the ATV was over kill to the rear, but the guy insisted on it and he had more money than he knew what to do with.. Yes it is personally owned.. the guy operated on a USAR team.

There wasn't anything steady to the rear of either vehicle... I've looked a thousand times and don't see anything resembling a steady blue..

Nice installs. I never saw the FBI run Blue and White. I only see them Red Blue. I wonder if its really and FBI Vehicle.

It is definitely an FBI vehicle. We do a ton of federal stuff. We do the local secret service office and just got done building a us Marshall prisoner transport van.

No, steady red - in the Tahoe's rear turn signals.

It looks more like a Volly FF. What state are you in. Just look on youtube. I have seen the FBI cars in person they always use RED and BLUE. All Federal Cars run R/B. Its very strange that the FBI would want R/W without a trace of red.

The B/W combo is just because that is what they had lying around. We didn't sell them the lights. They were going for as cheap as possible. And Vollys here run all red. I'm in SC. I know it is an FBI vehicle because we had to deal with the federal government for payment. And this truck left our shop to go to the radio shop that does all of the federal contracts. I know it's weird, but that's not the first time we've done all blue for them. we just got done doing an FBI support truck that was an F-550 crew cab with a massive enclosed work body. All blue.

As for the third brake light, the plug-in HL/TLF turns the third brake light off on those trucks for some reason. Not our wiring, just how it's programmed i guess.
