Hello Fellow ELB Members!

This is the first time I am showing you something that is NOT Federal Signal, LOL! It is related to my Federal Signal light bars though, as these complete the CPD look. As I am sure you can remember a while back I received a few CPD light bars from an auction lot of CPD light bars. I was excited to just aquire those, but felt something was missing to complete the look. The beat tag and holder of course! Since they were mounted on the light bars. The hard part was to find an original one though! Mike (Chargerlighting) was nice enough to sell me his original he had. The problem was I have multiple light bars and he only had one holder! So, I asked my fabricator to authentically reproduce a few for me. I then took them to my polisher to be mirror polished for added bling! I was still missing the beat tag itself though. Luckily Ulysess (forgot his screen name LOL) was able to source me an original one, which I then had reproduced as well. My plastic shop CNC machined me some exact copies. I then went to my sticker shop for some authentic reflective numbering. I was very impressed with the end result and would like to share it with you! I will post pics of them on light bars in the future. Let me know what you think!

They look beautiful Eric, Great job! They looked great in those sneak peak pics you sent me back in May. They were nice prior to polishing but now they are just wow! You just had to add the bling didn't you lol.

Looks very nice.

Wish I could find my few pics I took when I went to pick the bars up...the place had a whole lot full of different cars with all different bars on them.

I did manage to find the auction with a picture of the lot I bought...all the Jetstrobes had a metal (stainless I think) cover over the center domes to mount the tag / tag holder to.

(Sorry about the photo quality; it's a picture of a picture.... & the bar on top has the tag holder)

I have recently acquired a couple of Chicago PD lightbars with original beat tag holders. Any chance I can commission a couple of the beat tags?

I'm going to start looking at getting some beat tags made up and checking prices with some companies in my area. Probably will get around to it this week. I'll let you know what I find out. Just in case Eric can't come up with any.
