Mr. Dorgan does some amazing work. He is the true professional at restoration and preservation of vintage lighting and siren equipment. This old light really turned out nice. I know that you are proud of it. Don't see may blue lights in this model. I like the blue also. A vintage light to be proud of!!

Vey nice. Blue in a soalt or propello ray is rare.

Absolutely beautiful! I know you cherish this addition to your collection.

As I understand it, to make glass red, gold is added to the molten glass. Cobalt is added for blue. Gold is more valuable, but red glass is more common. Blue glass--not so common. Ergo, blue glass warning lights=very desireable. I am STILL hunting for a blue glass dome for my 2nd 174.

Congrats!

Very nice, Eric! I've never seen one in blue. We need to see some video of it in action. Was this one that John restored, or restored by his son, Joe, who now has the business?
