Need Help Whelen Cencom Gold

I just purchased a Whelen Cencom Gold
When power it up it blows the siren fuse right off the bat, I don’t even have anything connected to the siren , I have tested it by hooking up the speaker and such and it still does it , any ideas

How is it hooked up to power and grounded?

Yes , power is fused and ground

And is grounded to a chassis ground

is the fuse that blows the correct size? Should be a 20a

Yes it’s a 20 , as soon as power is applied in blows

if that is happening, there's something wired backwards,or shorted, or you have a bad unit. Have you removed the unit from the vehicle, and just try running it on the bench with a power supply? that would be my next step
