Need help with plate lights.

Hey guys! I’m asking for help with wiring! I’m installing feniex QSM plate lights and was curious about using them also for a break pop(mode 3) would it work if I connected them straight to my wiring for my taillight? I have attached a photo of wires that come from there I’m assuming had a flasher at one point.

You'll need to connect it to the brake light not the taillight but yes.

So I’d be able to connect it to one of those wires that are spliced into it?

I would cut the butt connecting the blue and orange together and join all 3 together to avoid another splice.
