New Product! Want to change your spotlight to X-LED? Now you can! Using 8848 (Chrome) & 8848-0002 (Black) replacement X-LED head. There is a pin that holds the head in place. Just pop out the pin, remove the old head, add new X-LED head and pop the pin back in!

The X-LED spotlights feature a 6" LED composite lamp rated at 225,000 candlepower, 12 volts, 30 watts and 50,000 hours of lamp life. Each LED has it own individually focused reflector for maximum intensity producing a uniform, precise 9 degree vertical by 9 degree horizontal beam pattern with a warm beam color. Meets SAE J591 Spotlamp Standard.
The lamp head has a UV hard-coat poly-carbonate, replaceable lens; precision molded PC reflector and a nickle plated zinc die-cast heat sink. This is all contained in the same high impact PC/ABS used in model S04 spotlights available in black or chrome finish and vented with a GORE-TEX® Membrane for cool operation.
Instead of just trying to fit into the existing housing, this lamp was built from the ground up to be an LED spotlight!
