Last week when my Whelen Command Software updated to 2.0.6.0, the "What's New" section of the release notes states: "Core-R." (Command Release Notes (whelen.com)) This is a separate option from "Core" under the "Choose your product" menu when selecting a new system.

Does anyone know what is different with "Core-R" vs "Core?" There are now three choices, "Core-R," "Core," and "Core Control Point." The control point option seems to be for just running Arges, but I cannot figure out the difference between Core & Core-R. Nothing is listed on the Whelen website.

Thanks in advance!

Core R is pretty much a fancy control point. It has, I believe 10 inputs, a dry contact relay, and is able to control multiple WCX devices.
