Not mine, but happened upon it today.

Guy got it surplus off an old fire truck and had no idea what it was. Thanks to yours truly his price doubled in about an hour, but as rare as these are, it's probably worth whatever money he wants for it. It's a legit 24RMVF-2Z in complete working order, WITH FEET and about 7' of cable. A good polish would do it wonders and there is a small ding in the front siren grille. Still, it's more than likely actual NYPD equipment and if you're doing an NYPD car right, you want this. And, like I said, these aren't growing on trees. At all.

I am passing it along here knowing that someone LEGITIMATELY restoring an NYPD M-body may want to pay for one of these. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will provide you with contact info. I do believe he has it priced somewhere north of $500.

This is located in Watertown, NY (adding to the absurdity of why I am not buying it).

He started at $300 and would have taken $200. Then I told him what it was and said it would be worth double that and it went to $600. Then he said he'd take $500.

This man has no idea what he has but does know it's worth money. With the feet on it and in full working order, I don't really think $500 shipped is a stretch.

If it sits awhile he'd probably come back down to earth.

And just to be clear, this isn't a friend or relative of mine. It's some guy I met today on a Facebook swap meet page and I've regretted my honesty all damn day long. I don't know why I'm helping this guy.
