Some people really do think that some of those older bars are worth gold. Now if this was the first TBR Federal released and it was NOS NIB, then heck yeah it's worth that much. But I highly HIGHLY doubt this is the case in that eBay one.

Yeah just like the ones used in the show.....except it's the wrong length, wrong color config & doesn't work right. All this wrong for only $800.... :weird:

"Night vision" is smoke tint in a can, also available in a film to apply over area. Amber Lenses were painted over. This is a wrecker lightbar.

If that is the case and the stuff is not removable, then he ruined this bar.  All it is good for is the BTT and the work lights in the rear, and just the flashers in the front.  Might as well just buy universal trailer lights and cheap fogs at Walmart and save the trip and the money.

Looks like he might have done the endcaps and front of the bar as well.  What was he thinking?  What purpose did that serve?

Based on this description, I'd avoid this ad like the plague.

Again, if this was NIB, 1st production run, THEN it'd be worth that much. But no.......it's not. It's a later production run, skeletonized bulb holders, and says "Federal Signal Corporation," not "Federal Sign and Signal Corporation." Plus, it ain't a damn bar of gold neither.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Federal-sign-and-signal-corporation-light-bar-and-matching-bug-shield-/291624870619?hash=item43e63262db:g:lZMAAOSwHQ9WViEG

Oh....and this little part of their description is comedy gold:

"Vintage Federal Sign and Signal Corporation Light Bar Twin Beacon Ray Series 12. Blue Lenses Beacon Lights. Model 11 Includes Federal Signal Corporation Siren Speaker Model CP25 Series Good condition. Rare find. Comes with a matching blue shield from Northampton, Ma. will reimburse the shipping overage fee if there is any."

Yeah......a CT-1 Visibar is a much more of a RARE find than this. These are common, especially the later run TBRs. If anything, full bulb holder models are getting hard to find.

So yeah..........this auction........yeah :-x

how about a used aerodynic 22H on ebay with the seller looking for a starting bid of $475 with the reserve not met plus shipping on top of it.

Umm its missing a reflector on the right  did anyone else miss that?

I just PM'd this to the seller

Just an FYI
The light is not complete.. your missing a rotator reflector on the one side.
You may want to update you auction listing.

Also in its current condition you might also want to lower your asking price to around the shipping price..

Happy Turkey day and good luck with your auction.
