Ok. What I got going on is: I got a arrowstick on our tanker its been working fine, well the arrow controller in the console of the truck has a 10 amp fuse in it. Now my problem is the fuse holder gets heated up real hot but none of the wiring does...any idea why this would happen? Is it because the wire isnt heavy enough to power the controller? Just looking for reasonings. Its weird!

Like Jarred said you might need a larger amp fuse

Halogen stick, all code 3 stuff, its the older style controller that is negative ground not the positive ground. And if you read the bottom of the controller it says a 10amp fuse but I also tried a bigger one in it and it did the same thing....soooo.........idk

Double check the required fuse rating. If it's 10a, use it and inspect and/or replace the fuse holder. The heat is due to the resistance so it could be that the wire to terminal or terminal to the fuse is weak and that's where the heat is coming from.

Most likely cause is the small metal clips that hold the fuse in place have become loose over time. I would imagione the fuse slides in and out rather easily. Pull the fuse out, and do your best to try to pinch the fuse holder terminals together tighter. Reinstall fuse and check again. It would NOT be because the fuse is too small. If the fuse were under rated, it would simply pop, not get warm.

Never ever try a bigger fuse than it's rated for... fuses are there to prevent dmage and fire.... it's not blowing it's getting warm... so it's either the fuse connections as stated or an issue insde the controller.
