Support Old Messages

I have not been on this site in awhile, but I tried to DM another member recently. I get a notification that I have exceeded my allotment of allowed messages in history and need to delete some old ones. The problem is, I can't figure out how to delete the old ones. I can select messages, and there is a dropdown menu at the bottom, but it does not give me the option to delete anything. I can mark them read or unread, and do something with a star, but that is about it. The short version is- how do I select and delete some of my older messages?

OK, I will give it a try. I thought that button was just to exit the message menu and take you back to the home page.

Gave this a try and it still says I am over and I am not. Not even close. I even deleted some too

If you have 150 messages, you are at the max and will need to delete some.
