Hi all,

Is anyone familiar with the switch box pictured in the attachment?

I acquired it second hand because it's DIN sized and fits nicely in my car. It's an old model and the manufacturer doesn't offer any support for it on their website that i can see.

The bank of eight switches is easy to wire up, each has a 12v +ve output wire at the back. For the rotary siren control, there seems to be a computer-style connector plug, but I can't see how it's wired up.

I really just wondered if anyone has any experience with this box who could give me some advice about installing it.

Also, does anyone know what the 1,2,3 positions are for on the handsfree side of the rotary switch? It doesn't seem to be a progressive switch like some boxes as there are no outputs for those functions that I can see.

Thanks.

I suggest you send the pictures to the tech boys at Whelen.

If you can't find info directly from the site. you use the techs.

I saw something similiar once in a ssp mustang was a chp clone. I think the 3 positions next to the hf are for selecting different functions when you hit the horn ring to activate hands free mode.
