Oxygen tank explodes, toasts ambulance

This is the second story I looked at on it, this one sounds like the ambo caught fire first, then the tank exploded.

I believe they finally ruled that is was an electrical fire and the oxygen eventually exploded. Someone even caught it on tape: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/video/ambulance-explosion-taped/article1634558/


It is some scary stuff. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

I feel bad for the edge. That would be a cool museum piece. But still a sad story.

On a side note, for those squirrels (such as I am), he runs a list for this sort of thing - if you're on the scene of a call and have a chance, you shoot a pic and send it to the designated email address, which resends it to the subscribers. Good stuff.
