Par28's sync issue

So I have a pair of all-blue Whelen Par28 fog lights, set on the same alternating pattern and sync wires connected. However, the lights lose sync after a while and slowly morph into a simultaneous pattern then back to alternating. Is there anything to troubleshoot other than the wire connection itself? I checked and the sync wires have a solid connection between each other

Quad flash alternating

Well, you should be fine then. I would try setting the to the default flash pattern, and making sure that syncs up first before setting it to one of the other syncable patterns.
