Any updates? I'm hoping the new Whelen lightbar will be making an appearance.

Exhibit hall won't open until 1:30PM on Thursday. I'll be shooting pictures of everything I can, then heading home afterwards. Probably able to upload Friday or Saturday.

We had issues with photos. :(

Upload issues, Camera meets with concrete issues, etc...

Right inside the Expo Hall door. Except for the 54Ward unit, most of the Chevrolet/GM vehicles were silver.

About the RX2700CC MC

Several of the photos make it look almost pink/purple. That is only the case when very close to the bar. Once you get a few feet away, it blends very nicely into a whitish light.

This photo is closer to what it actually looks like than some of the others I got.

Here is where the photos distort what it actually looks like. The all-head takedown is a fantastic feature.

I have a video of the charger (great show!)... but am not sure yet how to link to videos on Flickr. I may have to upload it somewhere else.

Thank you for the pics Ryan, I hope your camera is ok. :(

I think it will be. Dad's camera got dropped. The filter took most of the impact (shattered). We were able to get it removed (with pliers) and everything seems ok.

It took a good bit of time out of our afternoon, though. Lens and body seem to be functioning.

Mine (thankfully) stayed around my neck, where it belonged!

I will get the SoundOff (crowded booth!... they were giving away the Cardinals tickets for the game that night) and other misc pictures rotated and such tomorrow (I hope).

We ended up chatting with the Code3 people and a couple other vendors for so long that our expo hall trip was really much quicker than I had intended.

I really wanted to see more of Whelen's Cantrol gear as well, but time just didn't permit. We ran though the rest of the booths and looked quickly then headed out.

I'm excited to see a few more of the different manufacturer's product offerings mounted and in use. There are a few I will be trying out in future installs that I probably wouldn't have without seeing them in person.

I'll try to editorialize a bit more later, also.

Tahoe belonging to an agency that neighbors my county. I hadn't seen it before. It was pretty impressive. I know at least someone from that upfitter has been on the board in the past. Maybe they'll pop up and claim it.

Looks like the new Apex bar on top. It was set up there just for the show. Very sharp looking bar.

I like the ghosts on the door interior. It's a good concept. I would probably use an LED3 just to keep the cost down. The rest of the ghosts look great. Couldn't help but notice the 911EP stick in the back window, LOL. The Troy console is such a great product.

Glad to hear the camera wasn't too badly damaged. Sometimes the older guys get really excited about the lights! LOLOL.

SoundOff acquired 911ep, didn't they?

I'm thinking about using the exact concept for my what-i-hope-to-be-a-tahoe soon. The ghosts look sharp on the outside and hide well. Then I could stick my TDWL36 inside, just for good measure.

Thanks for sharing the Pics! They are great. Other than the camera I hope it was enjoyable. No Red 2700?

No solid Red 2700 (assuming an RX2700?). The bar on the C3 charger was multi-color Red/Blue... which I really like. I want one.

The only solid domes I've seen have been the blue for the new Ohio SP contract, I think.... If I've been following the other threads on here correctly.

The APEX is definitely a very nice lightbar. Was this a product originally developed by 911EP? I recall that they were working on new bars before the company was sold to SoundOff.

Also, it's a shame that the new lightbar from Whelen didn't make its debueat. I was curious to see what would be different about this versus the Justice, Liberty and Freedom. Course, you ask Whelen about it and they profess ignorance.

They did. From what I understand SOS was interested in the international customer base that 911EP had.

Yeah, I made a joke in another post that the Apex looked like the old 911EP Millenium. Apparently no one at SOS thought that was funny, LOLOLOL.

It really does. Just with updated modules and aerodynamic styling!

I didn't see anything I considered new, unfortunately. I might have missed it.

To editorialize a bit...

SoundOff has one heck of a great product in the Intersector. No one else has a product similar enough to touch it right now.

The Apex looks impressive, but it's hard to tell much inside a dark expo hall. Looking forward to seeing one outside.

I haven't seen that much new or interesting from Whelen or FedSig (I was hoping to see some multi-color IMPAXX, but didn't catch any).

Code3 has some new and impressive gear out now.

I love the concept of the Z3 siren. New, more authoritative, tones. 8 aux outputs. Separate arrowstick controls that don't require using your aux buttons.

I want one. (The SoundOffSignal 380R siren comes very close in button capabilities... 8 function buttons... but you must use them for arrow control as well... as I understand it... but it has dual tones!).

I'd also really like to have one of the multi-color 2700 bars. They were pretty impressive and I love the whole-bar takedown. I was similarly impressed with the TriCore Supervisor. That's a really cool product as well. I wouldn't turn down running one at all.
