Police Officer Sean Bolton, Memphis, TN killed on traffic stop

On 08/01/2015, Memphis, TN Police Officer Sean Bolton was shot and killed on a traffic stop.

Memphis Police Director Toney Armstrong says police received a call at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday about an officer being shot. Armstrong says the officer was conducting a traffic stop when he was shot multiple times. The officer died at a hospital.

As of this posting, the assailant(s) are still at large.
