We will again be at this event and if anyone happens to be in the area on the 9th come on down and say hi. This is the oldest continuous fireman's parade in the country and we have marching bands and fire departments come from over 200 miles away to participate. Last year we had well over 100 different organizations march and more apparatus (modern and antique) than you could count. Line up starts at 1pm and the parade kicks off at 2pm. It usually ends around 4:30 - 5pm and trophies are presented at 6pm. In between the end of the parade and trophy presentation, all of the city's firehouses are open and each has it's own barbecue and gathering which is open to all who are in the service. Again, an incredible parade if you like fire apparatus and great fellowship for all brothers afterwards. Looking forward to seeing all who attend.
