Bought a Carson SA-441 Magnum from irishff. Outstanding buy! Excellent comms throughout. Item was promptly shipped and packaging was excellent. The item was very well-protected; it was evident that time and care was put into packaging the item.
Item arrived unharmed and is in excellent condition. Shipping was more than estimate, but he covered the difference. Difference was due to some ridiculous USPS policy. Covering any shipping differences due to unforeseen circumstances is always the sign of a seller with integrity and professionalism and who respects and values their customers, IMO. It also goes a very long way in my books.
As previously stated, the item is in excellent condition. Outstanding condition, actually. Irishff even included a copy of the install manual for this specific model (SA-441-10). Doing things like including install manuals also goes a very long way in my books. Again, it shows that the seller is professional and values and respects their customers and is willing to go that extra mile for them. I really appreciated irishff going above and beyond like that. Might not seem like much to include an install manual, but it really is and speaks volumes about the seller.
Overall, a great buy! Would buy from him again in a heartbeat.
I just want to say that I'll always buy from an eLB member before even considering looking on the Bay. eBay just doesn't have the same community feel as eLB and buying there is a roll of the dice, IME. My eLB purchases have always been consistent in their excellence. You just don't get that type of consistency and quality of purchases on eBay or anywhere else, IMO/IME.
