PowerArc PA58 lightbar

This was posted Monday with a Vista and MX7K. Picked all three up yesterday and decided to share this one with you all. It came from Wapello, IA FD and is in great shape. I was able to find a couple photos of it in use as well.

You are probably thinking of the Star Lantern (pre and post SVP merger) rotator / 360 strobe lightbar, which were indeed quite common especially on oversized loads and construction fleets. The Power Arc higher profile oscillating halogen bar is very similar, if not the same base bar. Power Arc only ever sold these in oscillating formats, both halogen and later LED. I've never done a side by side but I have often wondered if Power Arc licensed the Start bar or if it was generic enough to just copy.

The domes for some of the Star Bars are interchangeable with the PowerArc bars. @gtpts27 used some Star Bar domes that I sold him on one of his PowerArc bars if I am not mistaken.
