Project Arjent

These are just a couple of bad pictures of the Arjent I've been fighting with / working on for a while:

This one is going to be all red with 12 Cuda LED modules, with 2 halogen rear flashers, 2 (halogen) takedowns & MR-11 alleys.

Biggest challenge is that Federal Signal has quit making nearly all the parts needed to build this; which is making it a little frustrating. They no longer make the corner LED brackets, the Cuda LED modules, directional LED brackets, so I had to improvise a little.

I had to make the corners my way, but I think they turned out OK. I trimmed the black plastic trays enough to get the LED modules to fit & the MR-11's are out of a sho-me bar I believe & they fit nicely.

For brackets, I've been robbing a Raydian parts bar & grinding/cutting/drilling my own to fit.

Thankfully FedSig still offers the aluminum "shades" so I can snap all the lightheads in once they're attached.

Right now I'm waiting on FS for parts.

&..as long as I have enough parts to do so, I will build another one

I have a brand new set of clear lower domes and a brand new aluminum base extrusion for an Arjent if you're interested.

I finally got back to work on this thing...parts just came in the other day.

It still needs a cable put on it & thats' about it & I am planning on switching from the 7 pattern sho-me flasher to the 27 pattern.

Too much money...I'd need 3 ULF44's @ at least $45 a piece. Intelliflasher patterns suck IMHO & are also expensive.

(1) 27 pattern sho-me is under $30.

I prefer whelen flashers too but I have used shome flashers in my last few builds..... the price can't be beat and they do the job.
