I acquired this repeater out of an old county EMA vehicle. Small county with little use out of it. I do not no anything about these to be honest. Seen similar item on Ebay anywhere from $50-$1,000, so that wasn't much help... I have no need for it! $50 OBO!!

This is a vehicle repeater... It is used to take your handheld radio and "repeat" it to your mobile. Then when your vehicle mobile received a transmission it "repeats" it back to your handheld

A few questions if anyone knows...
Does this only work for the frequencies written on it? Can it be reprogrammed to work for others? I see the plug on the harness, can it be plugged into a CDM1250? If so, will I lose the ability to have the wire for ignition turn-on?

They can be reprogrammed in the VHF range yes.
The connector on the rear is standard, you go on their website and look up the radio you want and build you own cable to go from the repeater to the radio
There is an option to have the repeater always on when it gets power, or use a external switch or some radios you can enable it via programmable button on the radio
